Suksom Jaipong has bright red leaves with green edges, which will catch your eyes at first sight. However, the annual output of Suksom is very limited in China due to its high cultivating skill & nature of mutation during its growing process. Differentiating from other Aglaonema varieties, Suksom Jaipong requires relative high temperature and high humidity environment for fast growing to appear with charming red leaves. Due to low output of qualified Suksom, less and less nurseries are willing to plant this variety to avoid big loss for them. The estimated output in 2022 is only around 150,000pots/year, which leads to Suksom Jaipong price surging up and only has very limited stocks available in the market.

Like other Aglaonema varieties & foliage indoor plants, Suksom Jaipong is also known as its air purification, easy-care and home decoration features.

Light: It doesn't need natural light to thrive. It is just fine with indoor fluorescent lighting & no need direct sunlight, too much sunlight will burn the plant.

Water: Water them regularly (1-2 week basis or much longer, it depends). Put your finger into topsoil or use moisture meter, if you are not detecting any moisture, then it’s the right time to water the Aglaonema thoroughly & evenly. It’s very important to avoid splashing the leaves when watering. Overwatering will lead to Aglaonema root rot, dark spots & brown tips on the leaves. Underwatering will be easy to make the bottom leaves turn yellow. Also if humidity is below 25-30%, Aglaonema will show brown tips on the leaves. It’s common for Suksom Jaipong Aglaonema to go dormant in the wintertime. Watering frequency should be spaced out as they don’t have more needs on water during dormant period.
