Philodendron Prince of Orange

Philodendron Prince of Orange, we also call it Sun King. It is a popular cultivar of the Philodendron genus, known for its stunning foliage coloration and relatively easy care requirements. Philodendron is a large genus of tropical plants native to Central and South America, particularly in regions like Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. Philodendron Prince of Orange is a beautiful and colorful addition to any indoor space with its unique foliage.

Key Characteristics

• Leaves: Heart-shaped leaves with a glossy texture. It has bright orange new leaves that mature to a light green, creating a stunning color contrast. The leaves emerge with a vibrant, almost neon-orange hue, which gradually matures into a deep, rich burgundy color.
• Growth: This plant has a trailing or vining growth habit, making it an excellent choice for hanging baskets or climbing supports. The leaves can grow up to 12-18 inches (30-45 cm) in length.
• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its leaves.
• Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Be careful not to overwater. Maintain moderate to high humidity levels.
• Temperature: Ideal temperature range is between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). It does not tolerate cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.
