Spathiphyllum Sensation Var., is also known as Variegated Peace Lily, Sensation Variegata. It is a striking variety of Peace Lily plant with variegated foliage. The species is native to tropical regions of the Americas and southeastern Asia. This plant is prized for its large, lush, variegated leaves and elegant white flowers, making it a popular choice for indoor plant enthusiasts.

Key Characteristics

• Leaves: Large, elongated, and variegated with shades of green and white.  The leaves are large, elongated, and feature striking variegation with shades of green and creamy white. The variegation patterns can vary, making each leaf unique.
• Growth: Reaches to 18-24 inches (45-60cm) tall and wide when mature. It is one of the largest Peace Lily varieties, can grow up to 4-6 feet (1.2-1.8m) in height under optimal conditions. 
• Flowers: Like other Peace Lilies, the Sensation Variegata produces white, hood-like flowers (spathes) that emerge from a central stalk. The flowers typically bloom in the spring and can last for several weeks.
• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain white variegation. Direct sunlight can scorch its leaves.
• Water: Requires consistent moisture but should not be soggy.
• Temperature: Ideal temperature range is between 65°F to 80°F (18°C to 27°C). It does not tolerate cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.
• Soil: Prefers well-draining, rich, organic soil. A mix of peat, pine bark, and perlite or a high-quality potting mix works well.
• Toxicity: All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested, as it contains calcium oxalate crystals. Handle with care, stay away from to pets and children.
