Transportation safety is guaranteed
Ensuring the complete guarantee of plant safety during transportation is challenging, as there are various factors beyond our control. However, our company takes several steps to maximize the safety of our plants and significantly increase the chances of successful transportation:
- Start with healthy plants that are free from pests, diseases, or any other visible health issues. Strong and robust plants are better equipped towithstand the stresses of transportation.
- Follow the plant packing guidelines mentioned earlier to ensure that the plants are packed securely and protected from damage. Secure the plants in sturdy, well-fitting containers or boxes that prevent excessive movement. Use cushioning materials like bubble wrap, or crumpled paper to provide support and minimize impact.
- Water the plants appropriately before packingas overwatering or underwatering can harm plants during transportation.
- Clearly label the package as "Fragile" or "Live Plants" to alert handlers to exercise caution. Include arrows indicating the correct upright position to avoid mishandling.
- Select thereputable shipping service that has experience in transporting live plants. Using expedited shipping (direct airlines & direct vessel) to minimize transit time.
- Familiarize with international regulations and permits required for transportation of plants. Ensure compliance with phytosanitary and customs requirementsfrom all over the world.
